Alan Mets creates shy but endearing heroes he nourishes with his life experiences tinged with his curiosity. Being so curious, during his studies he decided to explore man through medecine, the image throught cinema and ideas through philosophy. A triptique that led him to children books. Books he likes to do alone or with a partner, the iconic “Crotte de nez”, the generous Pozzis he did with Brigitte Smadja and an adventure-book (the creating of this book being an adventure by itself!) with Deepika Arwind. His lunatics characters are dressed up with his deep colors. And even if sometimes they are strange, they are always caring and funny. Alan Mets published about forty books in various publishing houses, some of them became iconics. His books have been translated in more than ten languages.
